Under general supervision this position requires connecting with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner. This position requires persuasive communication skills to gain the interest and involvement of others in the work process and is an important aspect of the job. This position requires an extreme sense of urgency, combined with getting work done in complete, accurate detail and in accordance with company standards and policies. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty and a feeling of responsibility for completing work both quickly and correctly. A faster than average work pace is necessary, and follow-up of delegated work must be very thorough. Decision making will be done with the ideas and advice of others, but always carefully and cautiously within the guidelines of established company policy. Selling ideas to others and the ability to train, teach and motivate a team are strong aspects of this position. Change is an ongoing occurrence of this job and must be approached conservatively and with the support and guidance of management.
Salary range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 annual, DOE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  1. Display familiarity with branch/department operations, activities, terminology and products and services.
  2. Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all customer information
  3. Assume ultimate responsibility for the highest level of customer service, branch sales activities, employee productivity and compliance with Bank policies and procedures related to branch activities and operations. Manage and monitor branch sales volume, profitability, risk management and productivity goals.
  4. Develop, implement and monitor effectiveness of client development and customer care/retention programs to include all aspects of marketing, internal referrals and outside business development.
  5. Develop, implement and monitor effectiveness of risk management practices as appropriate for the function of a branch office.
  6. Provide participatory leadership in the accomplishment of branch business calling and customer care programs goals and objectives through training and ongoing staff meetings focusing on branch sales activities.
  7. Direct the implementation of all branch training and staff development programs pertaining but not limited to: sales, customer service, time-management, product knowledge, Bank operations, compliance and technology utilizing both internal and external education sources.
  8. Develop and implement an effective community relationship management program, set goals and maintain records for community involvement and business relationship calls.
  9. Take a leadership role in promoting Bank products and services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree and/or a combination of education and experience in business, accounting, finance or related field, preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Five plus years of Operations/Retail banking experience is required. Proficient knowledge of general office practices and personal computer operations including work processing, spreadsheet, and email software programs.  Critical thinking skills are a must.
